Filtration Principle

Impurities and dirty water are drawn away through the dirt suction pipe, while water with oil on the surface is filtered by the oil film remover. Part of the impurities sink into the collection chamber and are discharged by opening two valves. The remaining dirty water flows into the bottom container with filter material (not included), where it is filtered by the water pump (not included). The filtered water then flows into the tank through the upper water inlet pipe.

External Fish Waste Separator

The double impurity collection chamber and double valve disposal switch design offer enhanced functionality, allowing the collection of large particles of impurities separately and their quick discharge. This design is ideal for tanks with a large size or a high number of fish, reducing the need for frequent filter cleaning and other tedious tasks, and extending the filter media replacement rate. The separator effectively removes impurities and fish food waste, which sink to the bottom of the tank and are then sucked away. A 304 stainless steel net intercepts the larger particles, directing them to the sedimentation box. A rotating outlet valve then discharges the water containing impurities.

External Hanging Filter Accessory

Unlike traditional fish tank PVC pipes, the hygger aquarium overflow pipe does not require tank destruction or drilling holes. It can be externally hung without occupying internal aquarium space, and only two pipes are needed in the tank. This accessory is perfect for tanks desiring a simple environment or for fish that are sensitive to motor noise. The product offers power outage protection, ensuring all operations cease. Upon power restoration, if the water pump can run, the filtration cycle will automatically resume. The water outlet valve can be adjusted to control water flow and prevent overflow. The hard pipe can be cut according to the height of the aquarium (cutting tool included). It also comes with a pipe brush for easy cleaning and white tape to secure water leak connections.
